Discover who we are, what we do, and how we foster a thriving robotics community at UQ.
UQ MARS (Mechatronics and Robotics Society) is a student-driven organization founded as UQ Robotics and rebranded in 2019. Our mission is to inspire and support students in robotics, from academic workshops to competitive challenges and industry connections. We are committed to helping students explore their passion for robotics and technology.
UQ MARS is all about creating a collaborative environment for students to learn, grow, and connect. Our events, including workshops, games nights, and social gatherings, are designed to build strong relationships among members and foster a sense of community.
We also participate in global robotics competitions, where students can take projects from concept to execution. These competitions help our members develop technical skills, teamwork, and confidence as future engineers.
Joining UQ MARS is easy! Membership costs just $2 per year. You can sign up online, at one of our events, or by visiting our stall during Market Day. Get involved today and become part of UQ's vibrant robotics community.
